French mortgages with UCB Mortgage
(formerly Abbey France)

Since 1990, UCB Mortgage has acquired a wealth of experience in the French mortgage market and has developed an appropriate range of flexible and competitive mortgages. Both fixed and variable rate mortgages are available. UCB Mortgage is happy to consider mortgages for most types of residential homes, new or old. In certain circumstances, we will also consider lending for renovation works.

  • Up to 85% (subject to valuation and depending on your country of residence) of the net purchase price for loans of 75,000€ or more and 80% (see above) for lower amounts

  • 62,000€ The property must be habitable, some works may need to be financed by Abbey National France depending on the results of the valuation

  • Residentaial property purchase (main residence, second home, property to be let), construction of a new property, re-mortgage and home improvement loan

  • 1% of the loan amount (minimum 700€ - maximum 1,500€)

Leaseback finance is now available from UCB Mortgage

Starting at a minimum mortgage amount of 50,000€, UCB can finance your investment for up to 80% of the price, including TVA (VAT) and furniture. The offer is available on all products for a term ranging from 7 to 25 years, including deferred payment period (capital and interest), and is destined for salaried employees as well as the self employed.

In order to benefit fully from the scheme with UCB, there are 3 essential conditions:

  • The property must be either new or in the process of being built
  • It must be on a development approved by UCB
  • It must be let out by the management company
