Photographs of Bretagne, France

With some of the most dramatic shoreline in France, battered by the prevailing Atlantic winds and rain, Bretagne accounts for about a third of France's coastline; between rocky outcrops and sheer face cliffs, there are flat sandy beaches and historic fishing villages with harbours. Inland the topography is predominantly green rolling hills, lakes and marshes.
Departments: Cotes-d'Armor (22), Finistere (29), Ille-et-Villaine (35) and Morbihan (56)
