Vineyards and wine of Lot-et-Garonne

	Domaine Chater: Iain and Jacky Chater left the UK rat-race in 2003 to follow their dream of owning a vineyard and making wine in France. Their first vintage in 2004 was a great success and the wines are already award winners, follow their adventure online, plan a visit to their vineyard or order some of their wines.
	Chateau Lavanau is situated in the heart of southwest France, a short walk from the village of Bernac where life is simple, food is delicious and the wines are to die for. The Chateau is a listed building, set in stunning grounds and surrounded by woods, orchards and of course, vineyards. It is the perfect place to stay whether you want to relax by the pool, learn about wine, play some golf, establish a base from which to explore the area, or are just passing through. The Chateau is also an excellent setting for small conferences and group visits. It has its own fully equipped art studio run by Juliana Uhart and we will be hosting organised events and courses in art, wine, French, local culture and local cuisine.
